I added Ethereum to my blockchain transaction visualizer (self.ethereum). 12 . . . txstreet

.

I first created TxStreet in 2018 to display the differences between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Since then, I rebuilt the website from scratch to include more coins. The first of which being Ethereum.

Ethereum Visualizer: https://txstreet.com/v/eth

Compare ETH and BTC: https://txstreet.com/v/eth-btc

Homepage (Currently BCH and BTC): https://txstreet.com

The project is still in beta so there will still be some bugs, but it is stable enough for people to start using!

This is cute. one question tho. what kinda of people are on the 1 Gwei bus. I thought 1 Gwei transactions will fail eventually . does it actually goes through like after 5~7 days later?

They probably won't be confirmed for a very long time, if ever. But they are still broadcasted by others and picked up by my node. I could ignore them maybe.

The lowest fee transactions will be dropped by the TxStreet client after the "Max Txs in Memory" setting is hit. My server also deletes them from the database after 24 hours of not being confirmed.

Kinda cool ☺️ how long did it take you to implement it?

Been working on adding ETH (on & off) in my spare time for about 6 months. In some ways it was easier than Bitcoin and in some ways harder.

The first version in 2018 I just used the blockchain.info websocket without running my own nodes, so that only took 1-2 months.

WOW, this is so cool.

This is really cool!
